Happy 18th Birthday to my chemistryandphysicslabpartnerexampartnerassemblytalkingpartner and VANCOUVERCRAZYPARTNER! HAHA. Happy birthday Cherie!! Anyhoo, last night was spent mugging quite a bit at Nat's. Quite fruitful I suppose. So I think I will be there tonight again. Oh yes, yesterday was a good day, in contrast to the one I had the day before. My creative writing lecturer said that if my tutor gives me a H3 and below, he wants me to request for a re-mark! Yay. So can kind of confirm my marks for creative writing now. Haha. Oh well, going to mugmugmug today. Trying to finish all my Macro lectures! Hopefully. Doubt I'll be able to. But that shall be my aim for today. Ciaos!

Happy 18th Birthday Meow!! (:
I'm currently super stressed now. Period. How I wish today was the 30th of October 2005 - The best day ever. Today had been just the opposite.
Here are the pictures that I've promised! The hard work that my dear friends went through.. And..The end product which was superdelicious! Haha. Photos are courtesy of Esther (= Yay! Had to wait such a looooong time uploading these things. Haha. Shall blog about dance performance another time! Ciaos!
missing you
Okay, I know I've been abandoning this blog for a long time. Hopefully it's not too hungry for more of my ramblings cos I don't think I'm going to blog that much either. Haha. There are just too many assignments to think about and too little time to complete all of them!! Ugh.
Anyway, just want to thank everyone who wished and/or celebrated my birthday with me (: Thank you 5tormers, OCFers, ISMers and all my other friends who don't fall under any category. XD And they're all trying to make me even fatter than what I already am! Ate lots of cake, cake and did I say cake? Haha. Lots of embarrassing moments too. Thanks to Youthfire and Timothy 2 >.< Kind of dreaded the public annoucements. Oh well. I'm still blessed and thankful for all the great friends! And if you noticed, I didn't include the MSN convo this time round. Cos firstly, I'm too lazy to upload the picture. Secondly, I've decided to blog. Which means that I was too lazy to blog on the other two occassions. Hehe.
Hmm, maybe shall post up some pictures of what some nice, little friends did for my birthday lunch. But that shall be for another day. Hehe. I feel so guilty when I saw all the photos of the whole process! Bet they all put in so much time. But I think there was good fellowship that resulted from all of it (:
Summary of Friday + the weekend = no homework done at all! Haha. Just going out, out and out. Oh, glad that we bought the Operation Christmas Child thing on Sunday. Had fun going out with those guys man. We were trying to put ourselves in the shoes of 10-14 year old kids! Haha. But it was great time of fellowshipping again. Is there such a word? Heh.
Anyhoo, going to be soooo busy this week with all the numerous dance practices cos production is just round the corner! Hopefully I don't mess up on stage >.< The whole thing is extremely time consuming considering the fact that we have to sew our own costumes. I'm just clinging on to the feeling that it'll all be worthwhile eventually.
Heard yesterday that Idiot Shaun (Idiot is his first name by the way) is going to Perth with Nicholas to visit Arthur! He's leaving this Thursday and he only told mom and dad a few days ago? lvoimudjnsclkei!!! That's horrible man! I don't think I would have done that when I was in Sec 2. Ack. What are kids these days turning into? Oh. And he is going to China at the end of November for a whole freaking month! So I'll only get to see him after Christmas on the 28th of December. Ugh. Hope he turns into an idiot Chinaman. Yeah I know I'm mean. But sometimes there are limits to freedom but he just doesn't get it.
Okay, shall go to the library to return a book. Though I very much prefer to stay inside. It's just too cold, too cold for an alien like me.

Just in time. Maybe my posts can be just MSN conversations from now on. Haha. XD

x)
Dawn shall be a happy girl for today. Cos she's done with her media presentation which went really, really well! Dawn loves her media group! We rock man. Now she hopes that Karla is kind and gives them really high marks for that. Haha. Oh, and she also submitted her CALM assignment last night, about half an hour past midnight. Two assignments down! Yay! Dawn woke up feeling refreshed even though she was lack of sleep. And not just simply lack of sleep but lack of LOADS of sleep. She's deciding if she should slack today and sleep early. But then again, she has a 11am class tomorrow and there's a high possibility that she'll sleep in anyway.
Enough of that crap. I shall paste something that I got from friendster. Haha.
1. Without women you will not be here
today.
2. Respect women,Cos every woman is like your
mum, don't rape a woman, unless u'r willing to
rape ur own mum. (Gross..oh yea cheeky lines
like "if u love me u'll hv sex with me"..try it with ur
mom..im sure she loves u too!)
3. Women are superior to men, cos u need more
than 40 million sperms to fertilize an ovum/egg.
4.Sperms are 75 000 times smaller than ovums.
5. Females have two x chromosomes, which carry
genes. Males have only one x chromosome, and
this x chromosome come from ur mother only.
Males all ur genes except ur sex come from ur
mother. (who IS female)
6. X chromosomes bear over 2 500 genes, Y
carries only 15. Therefore, U have 2 485 genes
less than a female. (this is for u male chauvinists!!
7. A male is a biological accident.Y(male) gene is
an incomplete X(female) gene.
8. In other words, the male is an incomplete
female, thus a walking MUTANT.
( Males u're cacated)
9. From health statistics, in the past 50 years,
average volume of ejaculate fluid declined by 20%,
AND sperm quality is dropping.(smoke and drink
somemore..good good)
10. There is a greater % of deformed and sluggish
sperms. (That means u're demented, deformed..oh
this is hilarious!!)
11. Women are multi talented. They are now full-
time career women, and yet they can still run a
household(cleanin, laundry,cookin, kids). Guys on
the other hand come home from work, n complain,
complain n complain..
12. Women have a higher threshold of pain, thats
why GOD gave us the power to give birth and bring
life into this world.(men are wimps!)
13. Women have a longer life expectancy.
(Probably coz we're less prone to accidents .. as
in we don't crash our cars into lamp posts while
trying to check out a girls tits or butt)
14. Young men run a much greater risk than young
women from dying of accidents and violence. (Coz
guys haven't enough brains to talk their way out of
situations...look at Arnold Schwachaneggar)
15. MEN are dumb, so interested in the females
breasts, IT'S ONLY a LUMP of FAT.
16. Females are highly specialised beings, we
have two openings for pleasure and urine
excerition. Guys only have ONE urethra where
both sperm and urine passes.
17. And for extra info, urine is acidic, which
makes it an unsuitable condition for sperm.
18. In the brain, testosterone is converted to
estrogen, to bring about its stimulatory effects.
SO listen up guys, the male hormone has to be
changed into the female hormone to bring about
masculinizing effects. (Ur not so macho without
female hormones.)
19. Your mitochondria ( energy source) comes
from your mother not your father.(So ur more
female than u think!)
20. Males only have testosterone and a little
quantity of estrogen as sex hormones. Females
have more, we have estrogen, progesterone and
testosterone. Mind u we have more testosterone
than u have of our estrogen.
21. There is a higher level of fatality in male
foetuses. (Dahlah no sperm quality...now the
foetus cepat mati pulak??)
22. The Y chromosomes of males is smaller than
the X chromosome which is a female.
23. Every male is part of a female, as u carry our
X chromosomes. Thus, EVERY male is 50%
female. (TALK ABOUT EGO-DEBUSTION)
24. Before u r born a male, ure a female first for the
first 12 weeks in ur mothers womb. (MUTANTS!)
25. The males have bigger brains than women.
But WOMEN use a higher % of their brains than
men.(pretty obvious...isn't it?)
26. Women have lower risks of high cholesterol
levels, than males, all thanks to our monthly
periods. So women be thankful that we menstruate.
27. Many males out there keep asking for virgin
brides.Honestly if u want a virgin bride, than be a
virgin urself.Don't carry STD's and give it to ur virgin
bride. She doesn't deserve it. (Hear ye!!!)
28. MALES find pleasure in superficial stuff
(Pamela Anderson is plastic and make up)
GIRLS RULE!! I shan't apply any feminist theories I've learnt last week. XD
Off I float to the library... the hatest place on earth.
Rejoyce, cos I'm blogging again. XD Though I know I shouldn't be. Everything is rather haywire-y now with assignments piling higher and higher everyday. I know I'm always rambling about assignments but that's one of the only things that I'm currently thinking about now. Hurhur. Thank goodness my three management essays are due tomorrow. Can't wait to hand them in actually. At least they're over and done with once it's dropped down the essay chute on the 5th floor.
Media presentation and essay due next Wednesday and so is the Macro essay. And guess what, I haven't started a single thing on Macro yet. Helpppp. It's so irritating that the lecturer reminds us every single lecture but it helps to build the pressure I guess. And I have a hunch that most people have finished it already or at least more than halfway through! Ugh! I can imagine all the assignments crashing down on me, burying me in a pile of paper, and leaving me to die with words all around. Okay, that didn't make sense to a certain extent. Oh well. Just want to praise God that our media group discussion just now went exceptionally well! I was so afraid that we would end up doing nothing but we actually finished most of the essay within the two hours! That's one good thing that happened today.
Oh yes, and somehow, I'm getting lost in Macro lectures. Can someone retune my brains back to its original frequency? Suddenly everything that Nilss says have become alien to me. I sort of understand but don't ever ask me to reproduce it on paper. Sigh. I have no freaking idea what I'm doing at uni anyway.
Commitments are probably the thing that is dragging me down. Dance. Yes, dance. It's always dance, right? I remember the time when CCA stopped just before prelims, I felt I had so much time. Time for studying. Probably that's the only reason why I actually passed O levels. And now I'm just repeating whatever that had happened in Sec 4. There's dance review next week. Which means the committee has to see all the dances and decide which dances will be used for production night. And that's next Wednesday. Stress. And closer to production, I heard from seniors that it'll be 6pm-11pm rehearsals nearly everyday. Someone save me. I pray that I wouldn't get much assignments then.
I'm so deaded.
Okay. I know I haven't updated for an uber long time. But yes, uni has been quite hectic in some way. It's crap that all the assignments come at one go and then due at the same time some weeks later. For now, there's a group project, 3 management essays, macroeconomics online test, macro assignment and the weekly Creative Writing assignments. Oh, and there are the weekly readings for each subject. I think I'm going to die really soon. Or maybe even develop a phobia for words (that probably explains why I'm not blogging). Hurhur.
Anyway, National Day was good. Wore red and white as usual. But this time I wore the Giodarno "I Love Singapore" tee which I had gotten for free two years back. Haha. It's part of my PJs actually but who cares. But nobody noticed la cos I was wearing a jacket over it the whole day. But the most fun part was at night. Wenyang invited Yingwan and I over for dinner at his place. It was potluck by the way, and we didn't know what to cook. In the end brought veggies cos apparently the rest brought chicken dishes. So there were like four chicken dishes or something. Haha. Bad bad. So veggies added a little more colour to everything. Tried connecting to the NDP server after that to catch the parade. But I think the server was too full of people trying to catch it from overseas. The audio went fine but the image was lagging by a mile. So, we resorted to using advanced technology provided by MSN. Zack called his parents to webcam the whole parade over! Haha. It was hilarious especially the part when he asked his mom to shift the TV right and left so that it could fit into the frame on the webcam. His dad is also really funny. He took a glass of red wine and said "cheers" in front of the TV. Lol. The thing only lagged by probably a second! It was cool, but too bad, the parade this year was quite crappy =S But thanks to Zack's parents, we all felt like we were in Singapore. Lol. Anyway, met three new people that day. Hui Qing, Genevieve and Guo Yan. Shall add them to the little number of people I know at College Square. Booyah.
Just had Creative Writing Trinity tutorial. Nobody ever turns up to this tutorial except me. So it's just the teacher, me, and me. And she always ends up talking alot and alot. Usually it's fine but somehow today's talk gave me a headache. Probably it's the lack of sleep or something. I think I woke up a million times last night from I-don't-know-what.
Cell on Saturday was a change. Seeds of Faith and Youthfire combined and split into three different cells after that. A good change somewhat. Currently quite comfortable with my new cell and I'm actually quite excited about everything. Haha. (:
Oh yes, I need to complain. A good complain in some way. There are soooo many people's birthdays in July! I knew of at least 7 people or so for the first two weeks I was back. Hmm, good month probably. Loads of people turning 21 too, so more sabos to come. Haha.
I'm tired and there's still dance later. Hopefully I won't fall over from exhaustion or something. And Hi and thanks to those who tagged (: Especially to Nicky: I'm blogging at last!
Ahh! How time flies. I'm back in Melbourne again. Am super tired now from lack of sleep. I slept like a rock last night after not sleeping throughout the whole flight. But I still feel numbed and sleepy. Watched four inflight movies! -beams- It wasn't all that nice though cos it was interrupted by numerous announcements and food, of course. I think Nanny McPhee was good. Hehe. Wanted to watch it loooong ago and coincidentally, they were showing it on the plane! Watched I Not Stupid Too again. That show is just soooo nice! Haha. The other two I watched was V for Vendetta and Ice Age 2. Surprisingly I didn't watch much cartoons. Hehe.
Ohoh, guess what. I was checking-in my luggages on Saturday and I didn't realise that the boarding pass that the woman gave me wasn't mine! After eating a super full dinner at Crystal Jade Restaurant at Terminal 2, I took out my passport and boarding pass to get ready to board. Then I realise that my seat number wasn't the one I got through the internet check-in. Then daddy checked the name and it wasn't my name at all! Lol. So rushed back down to the counter and apparently, mommy was making terribly alot of noise hopefully that they will upgrade or something. But sadly, everything was correct except the name. So nobody apparently took my seat and hence, I didn't get an upgrade. Oh well. But SQ was good anyhoo :) I was so full after dinner and there was still dinner onboard. But I seriously ate like a pig! Haha.
Went out alot the few days before I left. Went out for lunch with Vicky, Nicky and Hh at Ang Mo Kio central. Ordering food was so ma fan! Haha. Cos all of us wanted different things even though three of us were eating the same thing. Here it goes: Vicky ordered Char Siew Noodles. The rest of us wanted Ba Chor Mee. But it wasn't that simple. Nicky wanted NO te kwa, i.e. pig liver, more vinegar and chilli. Hh wanted MORE te kwa and more mushrooms and no chilli. Mine was just the normal one without chilli (see, I'm most convenient). We had such a hard time ordering! Haha. But it was fun. Then walked around trying to find what Vicky had to buy. She wanted to buy shampoo and hair straightener. Ended up at NTUC and Watsons in the end. Oh, and Nicky left us to go to school :( We were encouraging her to pon, but she still left *sobs* haha.
MRT-ed all the way down to Bugis after that. Vicky wanted to go to Sim Lim Square to get her SD card reader. Hmm, believe it or not, I've never been there before. She got one for quite cheap, $12 I think, and we went to Bugis Street after that. My first time there too =S Saw loads of stalls selling the coconut thing and we wanted to drink. But we walked down and suddenly, Vicky saw her Sugarcane juice and so she had that instead. Haha. Then walked to Bugis Junction cos Vicky wanted to find shoes. But there weren't any nice ones. She got distracted in Fox instead and bought three tops from there. Lol.
Walked around and waited for Shuie and Aly's call. Then MRT-ed down to Orchard to meet Shuie, Alyson, and Alycia. And they gave me a present! Thanks guys for the cups. They're cute! Maybe I'll take a picture of it when I'm back in Singapore. Didn't have anymore luggage space to bring it over. Had fun taking photos with them after that. The usual thing we always do in JC.
In the meantime, Vicky and Hh continued to shop for her shoes and she eventually found two pairs. Yay! Orchard is good. Hehe. Met up with them after dinner again and went to Holland V! Yipee! Believe it or not, it's my first time there too! It's a nice place. It's like a small village thingy with loads of restuarants. Sat down and talked a bit while Hh ate his dinner. Lol. After that, walked to the bus stop to take 165 back to Ang Mo Kio and we cabbed back after that. Oh by the way, Vicky lives near me now! Like in the same estate but it's a little far to walk though. Got home at 12 plus am and nearly got scolded =X Oh well, Singapore ain't Melbourne. A super eventful day. Been to three new places that I've never been to before! I sound so deprived. Haha.
Anyway, back to today. Had only one lesson today at 10am. Dragged my ass out of bed and walked to school. Totally had no mood for a lecture whatsoever. Oh well. One lecture is definitely better than two. Oh yes, last night was dinner and mahjong session at Wen Yang's. Haha. The only fun I had since I came back. Boo. Okay I think I better not bore anyone reading this any further. Tata!
